This month, we have two guest speakers coming in. To make sure we get the most from them, we’ve decided to have two meetings.
The first is on Tuesday 2nd March at 7.30pm. The guest speaker is Paul Corcoran of Inspire Risk Management. Paul specialises in insurance for apartment blocks in the UK and Ireland. He previously worked for one of the largest managing agents in Ireland so has a unique perspective on this sector. Insurance is one of the largest costs for Management Companies, so Paul will thoroughly cover this subject.
The second meeting is on Thursday 11th March at 7.00pm. Colm Traynor, previously Assistant Chief Fire Officer with Dublin City Council and now an independent fire safety consultant will be speaking about fire prevention methods in apartment blocks and the responsibilities of owners and the management company.
Both meetings will be in Training Room 1 in the Dublin City Council building on Wood Quay. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along! Here’s a map and showing the location.
