Bike Parking in Apartment Developments, Pre-Budget Consultation, Open Public Forum & More!
Our next meeting takes place on Thursday, 15th of June. As we break for the summer this is our last forum meeting until September. It’s your chance to get involved before the really good weather arrives.
So that we can plan for the meeting (seating / catering requirments), its important you let us know if you expect to attend using our AON Meeting Attendance form.
On Your Bike
Dublin Cycling Campaign will tell us about best practice for bike storage, parking and security in apartment developments. What’s the best security equipment for apartment complexes? What are the design and installation options? A topic of interest to all OMC directors, and apartment owners, we think you’ll agree.
A Land Down Under
We expect to link in on the night with a speaker from one of our sister organisations, the Owners Corporation Network in Australia. The Australian apartment experience is more developed than ours. We can take a lead from their experiences- learn some dos and don’ts.
Budget 2018
How can tax and wider government finance policies improve the multi-unit sector? We have some ideas. But we want your views! You can help us to finalise our pre-Budget Submission to the Department of Finance by 30 June.
Open Discussion Forum
As you can see we have a busy agenda. Time permitting on the night, we will give some opportunity during the meeting for our usual open forum which gives members an opportunity to discuss issues affecting their multi-unit development. If there are issues in your development or Owners Management Company you’d like to like to get the input of the AON membership on, you can Contact Us Here with the details before the meeting.
Update
We’ve met with several State agencies since our May session. Next Thursday will give us a chance to bring you right up to date.
It’s a busy agenda. We will start at 7pm sharp as usual. The Wood Quay venue at the City Council Civic Offices is our location. Come along early- from 6.45pm sandwiches, tea and coffee will be available.
Directions to the meeting venue are available here.
We really look forward to your input on Thursday 15 June.
