AON Meeting 18 July – Fire Safety in Irish MUDs / Apartments

Hello all,

Our next public meeting will take place on Tuesday 18 July at 7pm. We are delighted to confirm that we have lined up two excellent speakers to present to our meeting on the topic of Fire Safety in Irish Apartments.

– Kevin Hollingsworth, Chartered Building Surveyor, Omega Surveying Services, and

– Patrick Fleming, Chief Fire Officer, Dublin Fire Brigade.

Following the recent Grenfell Tower tragedy and a number of incidents in Irish Multi Unit and Apartment developments, the topic of fire safety is uppermost in the minds of Irish apartment owners, tenants, OMC directors and property management agents. Anecdotal evidence would suggest that there are serious issues facing the Irish Multi Unit Development and Apartment sector with regard to fire safety deficiencies.

Both Kevin Hollingsworth and Patrick Fleming have extensive first-hand experience of the issues and are well placed to advise our membership on this important topic. We are very grateful for their time and look forward to hearing from them.

If you wish to attend and have not already responded to us, to assist with planning the meeting and preparing the venue, we would be grateful if you could let us know you plan to attend using our Contact Form.

We would like to thank those who have already confirmed their attendance next Tuesday.

As usual we will be in our normal venue of the Wood Quay Venue, Dublin City Council offices, Wood Quay.

Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available from 6.45pm. The meeting will begin at 7pm sharp.

Directions to the meeting venue if you need them are available here.

We look forward to seeing you there on the 18th July.
Regards,

AON Team
