AON Meeting (AGM) – 8 May 2018

Hello all,

Our Annual General Meeting takes place on Tuesday 8 May 2018.

We hope you can make time to attend the first Annual General Meeting of the Apartment Owners’ Network Company Limited by Guarantee (“CLG”).

As you know we incorporated as a CLG on 10 November 2016. Our CLG first AGM will take place at 7pm on Tuesday 8 May 2018. The Wood Quay Venue, Civic Offices, Dublin 8 is the venue.

We want to hear your views on our work over the past year. Come along and tell us what areas you would like us to tackle in our future work.

  • Are we doing enough about apartment block insurance?
  • More sessions on effective service charge collection?
  • At our meetings do you want to hear from the ODCE, Department of Housing, or others?

The meeting will begin at 7pm sharp. First up will be the formalities of the CLG AGM, with lots of time for your ideas under Any Other Business.

Join us for tea, coffee and sandwiches from 6.45pm. Ensure to complete our Meeting Attendance form to confirm your attendance and assist us in planning the meeting,

Directions to the Wood Quay meeting venue if you need them, are available here.

Network appears before Oireachtas Housing Committee

As you may know, we appeared before the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government on the topic of “Issues Impacting Apartment and Multi-Unit Developments”.

The Irish Times described our assessment as “sobering, low key, but nonetheless dramatic”.

RTE coverage is available HERE

You can watch playback of the session on the Oireachtas website– (note that the recording begins at 0:35:10 on the timer).

We really look forward to seeing you on 8 May.

Regards,

AON Team
