AON Meeting – September (MUD Act 2011)

Hello all,

Following the large  attendance at our July meeting, and our break for August, our next meeting takes place on Wednesday 13 September 2017.

We have an excellent speaker to present to us on the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011.  This is an area of vital importance to Owners’ Management Companies, and directors.  We urge a strong attendance on the night.

Solicitor Suzanne Bainton will present to us on legal issues for Owners’ Management Companies, and obligations under the MUD Act.  This will be followed by a Q&A session.

Suzanne Bainton is a Partner with Liston & Company, Solicitors, based at Morehampton Road, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

Suzanne is the author of the section of the Law Society’s Complex Conveyancing book dealing with apartment developments.  She is an active member of the conveyancing committee of the Law Society.

Suzanne was a member of its task force which engaged with the Department of Justice prior to the enactment of the MUD Act.  She was also involved in the preparation of the precedents arising from the legislation.

Suzanne has lectured on property related topics to students and members of the Law Society.  Most recently, Suzanne has presented on the MUD Act to the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland Annual Conference.

Our meeting will also be a chance for members to exchange views on the progress of the Network’s activities this year.

As usual we will kick off at 7pm sharp in our normal venue at the Dublin City Council offices in Wood Quay.

Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available from 6.45pm. The meeting will begin at 7pm sharp.
